Update: Well, Google Antigravity also banned using their subscription in third-party tools. So now, I'd recommend Google's Pro subscription which gives you access the the Gemini CLI models.

Update 2: Google GeminiCLI has been retired in favour of Antigravity as of June 18th 2026. Antigravity is still not usabled using oAuth and credential rotating libraries. Will try subscribing to Opencode Go as my new provider, a cheap subscription with great mdoels.

Why Google Antigravity beats Claude's subscription

Anthropic recently banned using their subscription in third-party tools.
You're stuck with their web interface, or pay the expensive API rates.
For devs who need to integrate AI into their workflow, that's a dealbreaker.

Google Antigravity is a better alternative

  • Access to both Anthropic models (Claude) AND Gemini
  • Much more usage than Copilot Pro for a similar price
  • Connect your subscription to the client of your choice

My setup

I use OpenCode in the CLI.
It's the best terminal client I've tested.
A single Google Antigravity subscription gives me access to Claude and Gemini as needed.
